In July 2010, the Ensemble Choir traveled to Costa Rica for a performance tour.
Coastal Sound 2009
In June 2009, SACC members from the Concert Ensemble and Ensemble Choirs attended the Coastal Sound International Choral Festival at the Simon Fraser University in Vancouver, British Columbia.
SACC’s Ensemble Choir tours internationally every other year
Alternate years, SACC choristers have the opportunity to attend a local festival.
In the past years, choristers have toured in the following locations, attending these festivals:
Scotland and England Tour 2008
Ensemble Choir toured Scotland and England with ACFEA Tour Consultants in Summer 2008! SACC appeared as an invited choir at the CME Music Festival in Edinborough with additional performances in a variety of venues.
PICCFest 2007
In 2007, SACC members attended the Pacific International Children’s Choir Festival (PICCFest), at the University of Oregon in Eugene, Oregon. Chorus members have also participated in this festival in 2001, 2003 and 2005.
- South America: In an exciting departure for the touring group, SACC had a custom designed tour including music sharing with local groups, and individual performances throughout Brazil, Argentina and Uruguay in July 2006.
- Prague Rhapsody! International Children’s Music Festival, with additional performances in Vienna and Salzburg in July 2004.
- Canterbury International Children’s Chorus Festival, Canterbury, England. Sang at Notre Dame in Paris and St. Paul’s Cathedral, London, July 2002.
