We Sing to Celebrate

Join the choirs to celebrate 30 years of singing. We are excited to premiere a commissioned work by Washington State composer Reginald Unterseher. Also, plan to enjoy reception, silent and live auctions, historic displays, and more!

Teacher Appreciation at Auntie’s Bookstore

In honor of Teacher Appreciation week, members of the Piccolini and Grazioso Choirs perform at Auntie’s, 402 W. Main St. Spokane 99201. They will sing on the main floor at approximately 6:15 PM. Following, at 7:00 PM, is a reading by Holly and Bruce Holbrook from their book, Thank You Teacher. These events are free and open to the public.

Shared Stories

March 10, 2016

Brazil, Israel, China, Iraq, Canada, Holland…what do these countries have in common? Their music, and more from cultures around the world, will be featured at the March 10 concert of the Spokane Area Youth Choirs. Hear all choirs and special guests perform in many languages as we celebrate our shared stores through music! During the concert, bid on several live auction items, including four tickets to Disneyland. At intermission, put your bids in for many wonderful silent auction items and packages. All proceeds benefit the programs of SAYChoirs.

Labor Day at Comstock Park

Visit SAYChoirs at our booth at Comstock Park on Monday for the Fall Arts Preview, followed by a free concert by the Spokane Symphony. Booths are open from 4-6 PM, and the concert begins at 6.

Welcome Judy & Marc Hafso

Solas for All: A Sister City Celebration

Join all choirs of SAYC along with special musical guests from Eastern Washington University for an Irish celebration!

Concert 7:00 PM

Doors open at 6:00 for viewing and bidding on silent auction and raffle items. Proceeds benefit the programs of the Spokane Area Youth Choirs.

This concert honors Spokane’s 25 year Sister City relationship with Limerick, Ireland. In June, members of the choir along with EWU’s choir will participate in the Limerick Sings International Choral Festival.

Tickets are $8 general admission/$5 students, youth, and seniors and will be available at the door.

This fun-filled, energetic concert features music from many countries, including Ireland, Israel, Japan, France, the Czech Republic, several African countries, and more, sung in a variety of languages. All choirs are joined by the Franklin Elementary Marimba Ensemble.

Brighten your home for the holidays with a beautiful poinsettia! This year’s sale runs through November 15, with plants ready during the first week of December. Your poinsettia purchase benefits choir programs, including the 2014 Tour to Carnegie Hall. You may order using this form, or contact the office or any chorister.

SAYC Members Performing with Gonzaga University Choirs

 Benjamin Britten 100th Birthday Festival Concert at the Cathedral of Our Lady of Lourdes (1115 W. Riverside) at 7:30pm. Admission is free. Presented by the Gonzaga University Choral department. Anna Cox, Annika Marsh and Emily Sauther will be singing the Treble Solo portion of Britten’s Te Deum in C.


Jam for Bread

Three of the SAYC Choirs will sing at Jam for Bread in March. This concert is a benefit for CROSSWALK, a teen emergency shelter and school drop-out prevention program.  A variety of local acts and great raffle baskets make this fun for the whole family!


Placement Interviews for SAYC
